Dr. Rawleigh Fisher

Dr. Fisher is a native of southwest Louisiana. He was raised in DeRidder and attended DeRidder High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he graduated with honors. He attended NSU on an athletic scholarship and was awarded 3 varsity letters in football. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2002. He also obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from LSU in New Orleans in 2005.

Dr. Fisher completed his surgical internship at LSU and finished his surgical residency at LSU in New Orleans in June of 2008. He also completed an internship in General Surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Fisher is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Dr. Fisher is also a Clinical Professor of Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Fisher’s training provided extensive exposure to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including Orthognathic/Craniofacial surgery, TMJ surgery, Dental Implants, Facial Trauma, Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Cancer, Bone Grafting and Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Louisiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southeast Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southwest Louisiana and Calcasieu Parish Dental Societies.
